Golever is a Lord Captain in the Children of the Light. He is lanky, bearded, and hard. He accompanies Asunawa to the meeting with Galad, at which he agrees with Galad's assertion that the Children of the Light should not surrender (ToM, Prologue). He later joins with Trom, Vordarian. and Harnesh to kill Asunawa (ToM, Ch. 2)). In the Last Battle, he is convicned that the Ogier must be Darkfriends, even when he sees them slaughtering Trollocs (AMoL, Ch. 16). At the Field of Merrilor, when Mat sends for Galad, Golever chooses and gathers the men to go with them. He takes great pleasure in killing the Ayyad (AMoL, Ch. 37)
