Despite having been attacked during Siuan, Leane and Min's flight from Kore Springs, Joni thinks that they are having some sort of trouble and need to be rescued. Bryne is sure that, once they find the girls, Joni will want him to turn them over to his daughters to look after (TFoH, Ch. 12). He says that he talked to two merchant's guards who used to be in the Queen's Guards, and found out that "Mara" (Siuan) wanted a job singing in The Good Night’s Ride. The two fellows also told him about Gaebril's actions in Andor (TFoH, Ch. 12).
